Since March 2020, I’ve been teaching kids and adults to ride and traveling across western states. I am the best horse to teach beginner and advanced riders because I’m not the kind of stereotypical lesson horse. My flexible attitude builds confident riders. Unlike trail horses who follow the tail, I know when my rider is ready to advance to the next level and test them. I also know when they are not ready. If they ask me for canter while they barely balanced their trot, I'll stop and let them rethink what they're asking for.
I don’t settle for mediocre. I strive for building excellent riders. I sense your mood and pick up quick if you don’t sit right or get distracted. You will quickly learn to pay attention and hold your balance. Watch out for when I see my shadow and move to the side all of a sudden and be ready for my practiced four-hoof grounding spook. This way, when you ride a “calm” horse on a trail, you are ready for them to meet a snake.
Let's learn, have fun, and become better!
